Direxion

 

Direxion is a SCADA (Supervision Control and Data Acquisition) system that has been successfully installed on over 15 projects so far, spread across 3 continents. As a SCADA system, Direxion has two main functions:

  1. Supervision Control: full control and live monitoring of process conditions, including automation

  2. Data Acquisition: collection, management, storage, and visual representation of process data

Direxion offers many features, including but not limited to:

  • Monitoring and control of status across different zones, including synoptic views

  • Access to firing curves, dryer cycles, and other process trends

  • Car map, both live and historical views

  • Recipe management

  • Tunnel push management

  • Historical data

  • Alarm, warning, and failure notifications

  • Automatic generation of production and consumption reports

  • Automatic data logging of setpoints, process conditions, car locations, and more

  • Journal and dashboards

Direxion was developed based on the “Ignition” software. Ignition has been developed by Inductive Automation and is compatible with a wide range of PLCs. Training on the software is available for free online via Inductive University.
